Growing in faith together

Every journey has a story.

Stories of faith, fellowship, and becoming who God has called us to be.

Our testimony

OUR TESTIMONY — THE JOURNEY OF IMFI

The journey of Influence Mission Fellowship International (IMFI) started from something very small. In the beginning, we were simply a small congregation gathering in Paul’s room. It was just Paul and a few other young men who came together to pray, fellowship, and seek God.

As time went on, God began to add more people to the fellowship. What started in a small room gradually grew into a larger congregation. More lives were being touched, more people were joining, and the vision began to expand.

Through this growth, Influence Mission Fellowship International (IMFI) was established. What began with just a few people praying together has now grown into a fellowship with more than three branches.

When we look back, we can truly testify that this has been God’s doing. From a small room with a handful of people to multiple branches and a growing fellowship, we have witnessed God expand the vision beyond what we initially imagined.

This is our testimony: what started small, God has continued to grow.

A hug from the Lord

Coming to Zambia was a leap of faith. Not having an idea of where I am going , how it's going to be and not having family at all. At it was exciting as change but it got scary the day of arrival, reality kicked in that this is all foreign. The mind began it's work of overrhinking, depression loneliness and anxiety hit. I tried to go out have fun bjt is didnt hit. Tried every church closest to me and it didn't feel the same , depression loneliness hit and i just ended up not put effort. When hope was lost came IMFI. A place of worship, detoxing, it isnt a church but a body of Christ not confined to one location but in everyone memebers heart. EVERY smile is Welcoming it is an "I got you from God" Youths, Young people student's who have understood in the days of you youth praise the Lord, worship him in spirit and in trusths. IMFI is an emotion and no words can express that. You feel it from the ends, it is beyond and above is it Gods love to His students who are far from home but want to seek him. Everytime I am with the Fellowship I feel at peace, pressure decrease and hope is arised. It feels as if the Lord have me this fellowship as a comfort, as helper and a direct through my stay here.

Finding faith and family

I want to share my testimony about my faith and how God has changed my life. I found my faith when I came to Zambia in 2024. Before that, I used to do things without really thinking about the consequences or considering God in my decisions. I was just living my life without really understanding what it meant to have a relationship with God. Then I met someone named Paul, and he introduced me to a fellowship called Pray Without Ceasing, which is a branch under IMFI. Honestly, when I joined the fellowship, I didn’t just find a place to pray. I found a family. I found people I could talk to. I found friends. I found people who could encourage me, pray with me, and help me grow in my faith. Most importantly, I found people who are rooted in Christ. When I look back at some of the people I used to live around and the environment I was in, I realize how much God has changed my direction. Some of the people I was around have gone down different paths, and one of them is now in jail because of fraud-related issues. But God gave me a different path. He connected me with people who have helped me know Him better. Today, I can truly say that finding this family has made a difference in my life. I believe that everything is working together for my good because God placed the right people around me at the right time. I am very grateful for Pray Without Ceasing and for the family I found through this fellowship. I thank God for every person He has placed in my life, for the friendships, the prayers, the support, and most importantly, for helping me grow closer to Him. I don’t want to take this fellowship or this family for granted. I thank God for finding me, changing my direction, and giving me a family rooted in Christ. Thank you, and God bless you all.

God made a way: From weakness to restoration

I just want to thank God for His mercies because looking back at where I was, I can truly say the Lord has been good to me. I also want to thank God for the IMFI family He blessed me with. Living and studying in another country is so difficult; it is easy to lose your footing and lose balance. But this amazing family has constantly had my back, motivated me, and helped me find my balance again. I am especially grateful for your prayers, particularly during Prayer Retreat 3. During that retreat, I felt the tangible power of God. I was completely revived, and it stirred up a deep hunger in me to keep wanting more of Jesus. I just want Him more and more, and I know He will continue to do wonders in my life. For the past two days, I haven’t been feeling well. Today, there was a mega fellowship happening. I really wanted to go, but I didn’t have the money for transport, and honestly, I kept asking myself, “How can I even go when I’m sick?” But God had other plans for me. Someone from the fellowship provided the transport money I needed. I was so excited, and I knew in my heart that God was doing this for a reason. But then my sickness suddenly increased. I couldn’t wake up or do anything. I started having second thoughts and thought, “Maybe I won’t go.” But then I asked myself, “Why would God provide the transport only for me to be unable to go and fellowship with others?” When I woke up, I suddenly felt a bit better, and it was right around the time we were starting off to go. I made it to the fellowship after all, although I was still struggling. My voice was weak, I was coughing constantly, and I couldn’t breathe well. People were praying, but I felt a bit heavy and couldn’t pray well. Then Patron prayed for me, and I felt a wave of relief. Suddenly, I could pray freely and powerfully again. By the time the fellowship ended, I was talking normally, laughing, and vibing with everyone. I knew right then that God had touched me and restored my strength. I give all the glory and thanks to God for this, and I am deeply grateful to the IMFI family for their support and prayers. Thank you

Being thankful

I just want to take a moment to thank the Lord for everything He has done for me throughout these years. There have been so many moments when the future looked uncertain and the situation seemed impossible, but time and time again, God has made a way where I couldn’t see one. There have been times when I doubted my faith, questioned God, and wondered whether things would ever get better. Yet, every single time, He found a way to remind me that I am His son and that He has never left me. He has shown me that even when I cannot see the way forward, He is already working behind the scenes. Looking back, I realize that some of the moments I thought were the end were actually just God preparing the way for something better. He has never failed me, and I know He never will. 🙏🏽

Pray without Ceasing Fellowship

My testimony goes like this. I have known Nomalanga for the longest time, and she would always encourage me to join her for fellowship on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I kept refusing because, honestly, I had this fear of getting involved with what I thought might be a cult church. I had also shared with her how, for a long time, I had been searching for a community where I could genuinely grow spiritually and relate to others in my faith. February 2026 was not a good month for me. During that time, Nomalanga came to me, and we went to fellowship together. Oh my word, that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. That day, we prayed, we sang, and something in me changed. I remember telling myself, “I’m going to keep coming back.” Since then, Prayer Without Ceasing and IMF have helped me grow so much spiritually. Through prayer without ceasing, I have developed a deeper desire to read the Bible, pray, and seek God more consistently. But what has touched me the most is the family I have found. These people have become more than just brothers and sisters in Christ. They have become family to me. Whenever I need something, I know I have people who will stand with me, support me, and help me. My brothers and sisters at Prayer Without Ceasing have also interceded for me in prayer, stood with me during difficult moments, and reminded me that I am never alone. For that, I will forever be grateful. I genuinely thank God for Prayer Without Ceasing and IMF as a whole. You took me as I was, straight from the world, and you never judged me. Instead, you loved me, prayed with me, guided me, and helped me discover what it truly means to be a believer. I am forever grateful to God for leading me here. What started with me simply agreeing to attend one fellowship session became a journey that changed my life. And today, I can confidently say: God knew exactly where I needed to be.
